Robert Ycaza, MD

Dr. Robert Ycaza is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Specialist. He began his training at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, MI where he completed his surgical internship and then later completed his Anesthesiology residency at the renowned Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. 

 

He has expertise in all the areas of chronic pain; ranging from medication to interventional management. His continual education in the latest state of the art techniques enables him to offer cutting-edge treatments and procedures.

 

Dr. Ycaza’s passion for his field and commitment to his patients is unparalleled. He has been dedicated to serving the Bradenton and surrounding Manatee County for over 15 years, helping his patients restore quality of life, decrease intensity of pain and increase functionality. 

 

Dr. Ycaza is fluent in Spanish. 

John R. Ayres, MD

Dr. John Ayres is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement. His passion is helping people get back to the things in life that they enjoy most without hip or knee pain.

 

With over 20 years practicing orthopedic medicine, Dr. Ayres has experience in robotic-assisted surgery, minimally invasive surgery (MIS), partial knee resurfacing (unicompartmental knee replacement), and anterior approach for total hip replacement as well as biological alternatives to artificial joint replacement like viscosupplementation, microfracture/abrasion arthroplasty and OATS® Technique (osteoarticular transfer surgery).

Kathleen Howe, ARNP

Kathleen Howe earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and her Masters degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida.

While pursuing her Masters degree, Kathleen worked as an Emergency Room nurse for seven years. During those seven years, she worked in St. Petersburg, San Franciscio and the Washington D.C. area.

Kathleen is excited to integrate her knowledge base with the use of interventional medicine to help others.  Kathleen enjoys staying active by biking around the Bay Area as well as soaking up the Florida sunshine with her two dachshunds
